"Commander One is a very capable application that makes file transfer easy between devices and provides opportunities for more advanced file transfers such as cloud-based systems and FTP services. If you need a basic file transfer system, Commander One is a great option. You can use it with or without the PRO pack features depending on your needs."

"After testing Commander One, I can confidently say that this software is among the best file managers for Mac available on the market, as it lets you conveniently handle all your data with minimum effort. This tool lets you manage files with the help of 2 panels, a useful file search system, archive support, Root Access functionality, and an integrated Terminal. It’s a fantastic option if you’re interested in expanding the toolset of Finder and want unlimited control over all your files."

"Even with the basic version, Commander One will provide you with all the necessary tools to successfully transfer and edit your files as well as do more complex operations. On top of that, Commander One is probably the best software in this category for this operating system, meaning that technical support is brilliant."

"Commander One comes with a sophisticated dashboard where you can perform a variety of actions, such as quickly copying large chunks of files, setting up an FTP server, instantly switching disks, searching files with regular expressions (RegEx), and more. "Commander One isn’t just an alternative to Finder; it’s a complete overhaul of the file management experience on Mac. With its comprehensive features and sleek dual-pane interface, this robust app is a must-have for power users and professionals alike."

"Working with the Commander One is quite different as compared to MacOS’ Finder, so it might take you some time to get used to it. Besides, you will see options to show hidden files, change fonts and colors, access your most used and already opened folders, and advanced search with RegExp support. You can also preview files without actually opening them and the app supports file types commonly used by app developers and IT professionals like binary and hex."

"If you’re in the market for a Finder alternative that does a lot more than just replace the native macOS file manager, Commander One is a sound choice. It is popular for a good reason, and the latest version only adds more features under the hood while not messing around with the familiar UI too much."

"If you don't particularly like Finder anyway, Commander One might be for you. It's a two-pane file manager written in Swift, and it copies and enhances the feature set Total Commander (a.k.a. Windows Commander) is famous for. It offers multiple tabs, customizable hotkeys, root access, advanced search options, custom file previews, and much more."

"On top of dual-panel mode, there’s a litany of other upgrades that give Commander One the edge over Finder if you’re willing to pay the asking price. These include hotkeys, root access, in-app access to Terminal commands and process management, a built-in archiving tool, and much more that you can find listed here."

"Norton Commander" Again!
For those of you who can remember sorting file allocations under the DOS era, there were a couple of simple programs that really made life simple. Well, Commander One is this generation's version and is well worth the price. Instantly you can see both source and destination directories with all sorts of supporting utilities (like copying, moving, deleting, previewing) files in both the source and destination directories side-by-side! I seldom use "Finder" on my MAC anymore thanks to this wonderful product.

Great replacement for Total Commander on Mac
This app is almost as good as Total Commander (or originally Norton Commander). Almost all features are there. The only missing one is the easy display of all folder's sizes, which in Commander One somehow I am not able to make work (despite there being a command for that in the menu).

Very successful
I finally found a product that replaced Windows Total Commander, which I was used to. I prefer the two-window display and was pleased to be able to use similar controls on the Mac platform as well.

Very good
As I am get used to the dual-pane file managers, I was looking for something similar for Mac. And I found Commander One. I am satisfied with the functionality of Commander one. It is very well augments the functionality of standard Mac Finder, adding to the latter some famous features from Total Commander (Windows) and/or Midnight Commander.

"I have been using CO for several months on my Mac. I have tested several dual-panel applications until now and found CO very a user-friendly, easy to use, quick in action and veeeeery stable application. It is also very easy to find and display contents of files I need, to sort, execute or delete them. I like working with apps that have a eye-pleasant and well thought-out interface and consider Commander One as such a program. That is why I would like to recommend that application to everyone that want to work quickly and efficiently with their files in a Mac system :)"

"Commander One is a cool manager and I have been using it for several years! This software speeds up file management but needs an option to hide the second pane, which I rarely use. Allowing pane toggling would make it more versatile for different workflows. Thanks!"

"I like the speed of this app, and wanted to buy the pro version. But, I learned that dragging is pain in the ass because the apps does multi-selection when you try drag one file. It is very strange property. I have to try multiple times when I try to drag a file."

"I've used such applications on Windows before, but after switching to Mac, Commander One seemed like a medicine to me. Every time I use it, I discover another feature. I hope they continue to improve. I started recommending it to all my friends. I recommend it to everyone!"
